Vintage VOX JMI AC30/6 Twin T/B guitar amplifier
Original unmodified RED PANEL AC30
unused for 10+ years
The serial number is 7077N.
This is a vintage Vox AC30/6 from the early 1960's era ,with original Vox `Blue` speakers,and the top boost option fitted to the rear panel
As you can see in my photos, the covering shows signs of age and wear.
The grill cloth is original. Control knobs are original.
The striking candy red control panel is very nice and the speakers look fine as far as I can see.
The speaker labels read: Vox designed for JMI Sound Equipment,Dartford Road,Dartford,Kent,England.
All the tubes,transformers and chassis have an even dusty coating and it does not look like anything has ever been messed with.
The amp does work on all the inputs,and as it is unrestored,there is some noise from the volume controls when used,but it does sound ok.
Update: The amp has Woden 6310&J/83 transformer / Woden 66309 & J/82 transformer /Woden 66811 & 3780 transformer & EL84 valves
Collection only as the amp is quite heavy.
